Hey guys, I'm planning to transfer to South Dakota State University this fall. I have completed my Associate degree and managed to save around 15k. My question is, will I be able to sustain over there? I found out that the fee is pretty reasonable over there. But what about the other expenses like living cost, groceries, etc?

Can anybody please give me some insight regarding SDSU? How likely is it to get an on-campus job over there? And since I will be doing Bachelors in civil engineering, how is the civil engineering program?

I would really appreciate any helpful comments.

if u have 15k why are u worried about expenses. expenditures are reasonably low in south dakota.

yeah the living cost is low over there. the apts are nearby the school. you dont even need a car. its easier to get 20 hrs oncampus job too so that you can easily manage your living. talk with one member from NeSA, and try to find someone who can share the apt. Good luck !!

Hello Rockey07, I'm also planning to go there in coming fall. So, let me know where r u live now and when r u planning to go. If u r in eastcoast, we can go together using my vehicle and share apartment there. I heard living cost is cheaper there and engineering department is okey.
